USB MODEM MICROMAX NOT WORKING ON WINDOWS 8 / 8.1 ENTERPRISE (SOLVED)

I use the Micromax Modem On Laptop Containing Windows 8 Enterprise but when I run or install it first time then it says that device not found!!!! .. I sucked in finding the solution of this problem but finally I got a solution of this and now my Micromax USB modem is working properly on windows 8 enterprise. Now I am sharing this cool trick with you , and hope that it would also work for you.

MICROMAX USB MODEM NOT WORKING ON WINDOWS 8 /8.1 ENTERPRISE (SOLVED)

HOW TO RUN MICROMAX USB MODEM ON WINDOWS 8 / 8.1 ENTERPRISE?

Follow these steps below to run Micromax USB Modem on windows 8 / 8.1:-

METHOD 1 –

1. At First, if you have installed the Micromax USB Modem Software then first uninstall it completely.

2. Now open the Micromax USB Modem setup in new window. Then right click on (Modem_installation.exe OR showmodem.exe) now click on the properties.

3. There set the compatibility mode to windows 7 and then press ok.

4. Now Connect the Micromax USB Modem to your computer and run the software, There you see “NO DEVICE” now exit the software.

5.Now open CONTROL PANEL > DEVICE MANAGER > OTHER DEVICES.

6. There Uninstall all the modem related drivers (uninstall both yellow mark or without yellow mark drivers).

7. Just left uninstall the two or one drivers shown below-

8. Now go to “Action” menu in top, and click on “Scan for hardware changes”.

9. Now open the Micromax USB Modem Now it works Fine. Enjoy and have fun.

METHOD 2 –

1. Install Micromax 3G USB Modem on Compatible mode of “WINDOWS 7” as shown above. And now you had to restart your computer.

2. Now go to installation folder of Micromax 3G USB Modem – As Picture Shown Below

For x64 bit OS C:\Program Files (x86)\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\Win7_64

x32 bit OS C:\Program Files\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\Win7_32

3. Now copy the file – “cmnsusbser.sys” and paste this file to this folder ------- C:\Windows\System32\drivers to replace if any older version is already present. Better save the older file before replacing it with new one.
4. Now go back to the installation folder of Micromax 3G USB Modem (Picture Shown Above) and then install the following files- cmnsmdm.inf
cmnsser.inf
5. Now it is done. NOTE: you must open the application from the desktop Enjoy internet. Now your Micromax 3G USB Modem will work properly in Windows 8/8.1.
